The SI defends the independence and sovereignty of Lebanon. It asks to quickly fill the constitutional void and elect an impartial Lebanese president who is the real choice of the Lebanese people, in order to be able to put in place the necessary reforms to release financial aid to Lebanon from the International Monetary Fund to implement the recovery plan of the country and overcome the serious economic crisis without weighing on the middle and poor social classes.
SI calls for intensive work to increase financial aid to humanitarian programmes for refugees in Lebanon, and to support the country as a host community in order to avoid the random and insecure rattrailing in the presence of this criminal regime in Syria.
