The Socialist International Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean reiterates its call to the member parties that they exercise their best endeavours towards their respective governments so that the latter support the unanimous request of the United Nations Special Committee on Decolonisation that the Assembly General examine the case of Puerto Rico in accordance with the inalienable right of the people of Puerto Rico to self-determination and independence.
